Wrongful Pride

Who is the man that feels so strong,
Who smiles with pride, when he’s done such wrong?
Who applauds the sycophants and denies what’s right,
Who threatens the doubters and frames the weak?
In madness and chaos, he lashes out venom,
His serpent tail, being all that prevails
Slashing through justice and truth with his lies.
Throwing jumping jacks into the hearts of the poor,
Disorientating, perverting, and destroying with war.

Where are the soldiers - wounded and dying?
They bleed for us, their lives on the line,
Fighting, defending, to win justice and peace.

Jesus died on the battlefield, when Evil attacked.
Innocent, He won - life over death.
Be strong, He will come, so stay close to Truth…
For soon it will end, and He, again here, will rule!

God, come to Earth, to right the wrong!
Free the captives, and the weak, make strong.

Let Your Holy Justice ring across the world.
Let us bow again on bended knee,
And honour You, our King, and with our eyes, see…
Your glorious love, Your mercy free,
Your beauty, Your power, Your true might, reveal
Let us all, in unity, praise, and proclaim
With hands held high and voices raised,
That You, we sing, are God, our One King!
