SILVER PEARS

 SILVER PEARS

Silver pears are hanging on the pear tree.

Sunlight, full of beams, shines through the branches,
Touching the leaves.

The wood is green, for it is spring
And the tree is young, and very alive.

The silver becomes gold from the Son’s rays.
Twinkling softly
Adding warmth, brilliance and beauty.

The tree is exquisite, beautiful;
The fruit, perfect - pears adorn its frame like jewels;
These pears give life.

A small fresh-water stream passes nearby
And the sun falls on it
Allowing diamonds to sparkle and dance.
The patches of high grass are bright green;
Buds and flowers are emerging.

This is new life, a new springtime –
Fruitful, precious, beautiful, fulfilling.
