‘It is finished.’ (John 19)
Jesus Christ gave up His Spirit.
 
But, for us, it has started!
The Bridge to Heaven, opened.
Iesu Christe, Who died, now alive -
Raised up. Death razed to the ground.
Death has no power – all consumed by God’s love.
All hope, growing.
The start of new life: Resurrection glory.
Dei Patris, glorified by our Saviour, Filium Dei.
Heaven met Earth.
 
God freed man by His temporary separation from Innocence –
Innocent blood spilled on barren soil –
Land now fertile to receive loving souls:
Those seeking the Creator
Those searching for Love
Those searching for truth
Those loving their true Father.
 
Death, finished.
Hope and life, won forever, with radiant light.
Spirits made free; life freely given.
 
Be love in love
Be love in praise
Be love in thanks
Be love in forgiveness
Be love in truth
Be love in hope
Be love in peace
Be love in mercy
Be love in charity
 
Heart to heart and heart to hope
Life from life, made eternal.
