RAINBOW LIGHT
I’m dancing on the top of the rainbow,
I’m dazzled by the light of the Son,
Dark clouds have passed me by,
The wet grass is glistening below.
The rainbow is bright with many colours,
They bend towards a love so great,
For God is visiting His people,
Touching hearts, as the arc descends.
His Covenant cannot be broken,
However hard the road ahead,
The life, death and Resurrection,
Reveal the only way to go.
Grow in the rainbow light of Jesus,
His, the true love we need to know…
Red and orange, yellow and green,
Blue, indigo and violet – sublime, but seen.
See the ever-piercing beauty,
Drops of water breaking white sunlight,
Amazing spectrum by our God created,
Seven arcs - blessed promises to man.
Now raise your hands to reach His glory,
Be wholly bathed in Holy rays,
Be free to receive His joyous blessings,
Search and ask and know His love this day.
Rainbow light capturing something special –
Thirst we not for the Risen King?
Feel His gentle rain upon us,
Hear the birds so freely sing!
Nature knows our Saviour, Holy,
How the bees and fish find life!
He is life, sustaining life forever,
He is All – totally, beautifully Holy.
Nothing can take away His rainbow light,
For He is the morning, noon and night,
Nothing impure can stand within His presence,
Look to Him, refuse the dark, and find true life.
