(St Emilie’s, Prince of Peace) Standing in the foothills of the mountain of the Lord, I look up. I see the amazing beauty and power of His Creation As His light bursts forth from His Holy Heart. We see His majesty, clothed in a radiant sun – Son of God, blessing us all. Come let us glorify Him, for He loves us! ‘Come, let us go up, to the mountain of the Lord.’ (Isaiah 2) Take a step, move towards Him, Climb His mountain, and refuse to stumble…for He calls us. Deny the shadows that loom, for darkness tries to threaten. Fear not! For He draws us – can you hear Him? A magnificent voice, a booming sound, is carried on the wind. ‘Come, follow Me, to the mountain top. I am waiting for you, with open arms. Dodge the blind spots, run from the shade, race towards the Light – For a new dawn is rising. Its joyful rays will bathe you. I AM here – Light from Light - to cover you and fill you, to bless you and love you… Eternally, ‘For I am the everlasting God – the Alpha and Omega; the Beginning and the End.’
