Mary, you are a Child of God
Mary, you are Mother of God
Mary, you opened your heart to Love
And all that God promised from above
 
You gave your heart when still a child
Mary, God’s servant, mother most mild
How your heart was pierced through for our pain
All in the plan, to ensure Love’s gain
Made for the salvation of Man
 
Oh, wise child, with gifts from God’s heart
You mothered and cared for and loved the Christ Child
Oh, blessed child, infused with blessed blood
All-conquering Mediatrix and all Heaven’s hope
 
Made holy and perfect to receive such a gift
A gift to us all, for He raises us high
To search for His glory, in Heaven’s blessed skies
Love knowing this Gift would blessedly die
 
Oh, child amazing, you opened the gate
We’ll enter His presence, for us He awaits
Mary the Mother of Jesus, the child
Blessed Holy Union, for the Kingdom’s exile
