See the sun rise, watch as it sets; Dreaming of bliss, but bliss - oh, to dream! Feel in your heart, pain as you grow, Understand now, you reap as you sow. Take time to reflect, has fate played a part - How much is your life, a result of your strife? What hold do we have, as we stare at the moon; As we blink in the sunlight; as we drown in the rain? We travel the path, from birth to the grave, Collecting things we ought not to save. Shout from the mountains, walk through the flames, Smile through your danger, face up to the pain. Clasp tight your hope, breathe air innocent Of love, trust and friendship, of wanting to care. Dispel all the thunder; quench now your thirst; Don’t give up the search of truth plain to hear. Close your eyes to the dark side and let in the light, Seek the warmth of good feeling, close out the cold. Be sure of each step, make foundations of steel - Your conscience will guide you to what’s right and what’s wrong; You will then see the beauty of the sun as it sets. But let no one try to tell you that man wrote life’s song. This peace is a gift from God far above Who looks down on creation with love but Who looks into our hearts to find love.
