Journey Inwards

Close your eyes, reach deep inside,
Open your heart, free your mind.
Travel light, clear the mess,
What you may find, one can but guess.
The journey starts, when we face truth
And throw away, things of no use.
Destroy your hate, erase your shame,
Find hope and love, conquer your pain.
Keep well your soul, for death is life,
A challenge to all, to rise or fall.
Make sure you see, how love should be,
Let good prevail, rid negativity.
Find in yourself, a path to follow,
And dwell in peace, for all that matters,
Is the friendship and love, you give and gather.
Clear the stones, that block your way,
Lift up your head, be proud to say:
"I believe in truth - it is the only way!"
Open your eyes, for the final run,
When you see God, and his only son.
