Baptism of Jesus The sky split and the light of Heaven burst forth. Clouds moved, to allow rays of glory to penetrate the Holy Head of Jesus. Nature danced; trees swayed and birds, sang. Fish swam in circles, breathing in life from above the rippling water. Oh, life! Oh, love! Oh, joy! Resplendent King being crowned - Ready to serve His people; Ready to liberate the enslaved; Ready to heal the world and claim back for eternity, the holy Kingdom of God. He would heal, renew, cleanse and set free - all who’d search for the Truth; the truth of God’s pure love. Nothing false in the Word of the Father from the Author of life, and the King of all kings! The blind would see, the deaf would hear; the lame would walk; the imprisoned, break free. Heart to heart – Father to Son: Jesus, immersed in truth; infused with love And so the radiant Son shone bright, while the Baptist, stunned, looked on. In awe he saw the Holy Spirit, settle on the Beloved’s head. And the choirs of Heaven were singing, ‘Holy and Blessed Redeemer; glory to our King of kings!’ Oh, the mystery! Oh, the triumph! Oh, such grace! Delivered by inexplicable force, an electrifying truth, igniting hope with fire. Unfathomable love and mercy, being poured like oil into the Anointed’s Holy Spirit – blessing us all. And we looked on and stood in wonder, wondering what this moment would bring! John, the faithful servant, had witnessed Life’s turning point. His job was done for eternity - for he’d baptised with water. But Jesus -Jesus - would save with fire and spirit!
