Freedom is Jesus (June 2022)

Freedom is Jesus dying on the Cross
See the blood pouring from His side
The tears in His eyes
A face distorted by pain
A body wracked with unspeakable joy -
For He chose the Cross
He chose to die
He chose to conquer death
He chose to buy our freedom
By giving His life 
Only to take it up again.

Reunited, Father and Son and Holy Spirit
Glorious eruption from the grave
He bought our souls
He paid the price for our freedom
He took on our sin
And blasted it into nothingness
For we live, in Him, Who loves us.

Love of God, for His children!
Oh, what a God!
Oh, Blessed Father!
Oh, wonderful Creator!
Oh, fantastic Designer!
God, our Father, coming to dwell with us
Love the Conqueror
Love, the Redeemer
Love the Victor
Over death, over sin, over loss
He lives! He lives! He lives! Amen.
