FOR YOU ARE GOD

Across the lights of thousand stars

I see you there

For you are God

Your radiance blasts life into the world

For are God

And You hold us there

In the palm… of Your hand

Across the fields of a thousand trees

I hear You there

For You are God

Your Spirit speaks life into life to love

For You are God

And You hold us there

In the depth of Your great love

Oh how your Spirit moves wherever it wills

We catch our breath, and breathe You in

For you are Life and You give us life

For You are God, and You made us all…in love

Across the sea of a thousand faces

I Know You’re there

For You are God

(and You love us all)

And you search our hearts

(and you look for us)

For you are God and we’re part of You

Oh, how Your love cuts through our hurtful pride

Your Grace at work inside, transforming us

And teaching us of Your mercy deep

From this great Truth we surely cannot hide!

Across our world where shadows creep

We plead for You to release Your light

Ignite the fires of love to cleanse

Ignite the fires of love to heal

Set us on fire with wisdom and truth

Obliterate dark and set our hearts on fire…in You.
