Hurry! Hurry! Things must be done To ensure that success is won. Don't hesitate or contemplate Or pause for breath in case you're late. Oh, where is time, it disappears And lingers only for pain and tears? But why the rush, what is the goal - Building up stories to tell when you're old? One day you will wake and realise You are like the flower that blossoms and dies; The beauty of life is all around It is not something that is suddenly found. Treat each moment as a special gift, For it is finer than the finest silk. Put Truth not aside for when you have time - Open your heart, your eyes, and your mind. Hurry not, for you might fail to see The meaning of Truth, Love and Charity. J. HUGHES, August 1994
